|The ICUP is an independent not-for-profit organisation. The primary objectives of the ICUP are:|
||• Provide a forum for the exchange of scientific ideas
and information on urban pests.
||• Enhance communication and cooperation among all those
working with these pests.
|The Conference is held every 3 years, and is open
to all those with an interest in the science of urban pests.
Students and younger scientists are especially welcomed.
|Conferences are 3-day events that include presented papers describing original research, workshops on specific topics, and scientific posters.
|Each Conference is organised by an Organising Committee, which exists only for the three years it takes to plan and execute each Conference. |
|The Organising Committee issues a call for abstracts in the year before the Conference. Abstracts are reviewed, and the selected papers and posters are published in full in the Proceedings, which is available at the start of each Conference. Individual papers may also be viewed and down-loaded from this website (see Search Proceedings
). All presentations are in English.
|Governance of the ICUP is provided by an Executive Committee, underpinned by the ICUP constitution. This group establishes protocol for all aspects of the Conference. |
